Greedy Neighbour started life in 2020 as a supper club for hungry locals in south east London. Today we are bringing delicious breakfasts and lunches to startups, film & photoshoots and events.

A little info about being Greedy…
Annie Ounstead (pictured above in her kitchen) absolutely bloody loves food. She was a greedy little girl who always ate all the pasta straight from the pan and she hasn’t changed. As a “grown up” Annie was living in London and working in fashion - only ever cooking for her friends and family.
But everyday Annie would most look forward to the breakfast and lunches served on the fashion shoot sets where she was working. Sometimes these meals were amazing, restaurant-quality dishes. But a lot of the time they were just: meh. And with every not-so-inspiring “work lunch”, all of her colleagues who had eaten her food told her: “You could cook us something better than this!”
At first she was flattered, but after hearing it enough she thought to herself: “Actually, maybe I could…” So, she decided to try.

Our company is called Greedy Neighbour because we think that greediness is something to be proud of. Good food shouldn’t be left uneaten. Scoff it down and celebrate it. When you share it, help others to be greedy too, give as much as you can and make sure nobody leaves the table wishing they’d had another bite.

Being a neighbour isn’t just about breaking bread and bringing round a cup of sugar. It’s about building a community. Everything we do is about making people happy and sharing what we have with others. We always want to make every meal feel like it was home-cooked and made for you by someone you know.
